The basis on which we provide our pharmacy services, and the rules for using this website.
These Terms apply to the website at sellypharmacy.co.uk and to the pharmacy services we provide from our premises at Unit 2480, Bristol Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6BD. They also apply to any forms, communications, or transactions you initiate with us through this site.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the website or our online services.
Selly Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy. We are registered with and regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) — the regulator for pharmacies and pharmacy professionals in Great Britain. Our GPhC registration details are available on request and via the GPhC website at pharmacyregulation.org.
Our Superintendent Pharmacist is responsible for the professional standards and clinical governance of the pharmacy.

This website provides several online forms (including EPS nomination and repeat prescription requests). By submitting a form you confirm that:
Submission of a form is a request, not a guarantee of service. We will assess each request on its clinical and operational merits and respond accordingly. We reserve the right to decline a request or ask for further information.
Our NHS services are provided under contract with NHS England. They are subject to the relevant NHS regulations, eligibility criteria, and clinical guidelines, which may change from time to time. We will tell you if you are not eligible for a particular NHS service and, where possible, signpost you to alternatives.
Standard NHS prescription charges apply unless you are exempt or hold a valid Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC). The current NHS prescription charge is set by the Department of Health and Social Care.
Where we provide services privately (outside the NHS), we will be transparent about pricing before any service is provided. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Private consultations are subject to our professional clinical judgement. We may decline to provide a service if, in our pharmacist's professional opinion, it is not clinically appropriate. In such cases, we will refund any consultation fee paid, less any costs already reasonably incurred.
We dispense NHS and private prescriptions in accordance with the law and professional standards. We are not able to:
If you collect a prescription on behalf of another person, we may ask for confirmation of identity and your relationship to the patient.
We offer free local delivery within the B29 postcode for housebound patients and selected regular customers. Delivery is provided as a courtesy service, normally on weekdays during opening hours.
While we make every effort to deliver on time, we cannot guarantee specific delivery times. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control (traffic, weather, supply issues). For controlled drugs and certain other items, we may require a signature on delivery.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or that arises from your failure to follow our advice, the manufacturer's instructions, or to disclose relevant information about your health.
